• Conducted MATLAB programming to evaluate performance parameters of SI-CFR engine with varying throttle position
• Measured burn duration and CA50 for four firing cases with varying spark timings to achieve optimum combustion
phasing that produces highest IMEPn and net thermal efficiency
• Calculated Fast Fourier Transform of unfiltered pressures of varying compression ratios to analyze portions of knock
